Challenge Details

  • Type: Miscellaneous

  • Description: The flag is hidden inside the OWASP Discord Server. Your mission is to join the server and uncover the fragmented flag by exploring various servers and elements.

  • Flag Format: questCON{}


Initial Steps

Participants are instructed to join the OWASP Discord Server, the central hub for this challenge.



Step 1: Searching Channels

As the challenge is marked "Misc," head over to the misc channel where clues might reside.

Here, a notable SPOILER TEXT message is posted. Clicking it reveals the first part of the flag:

Step 2: Exploring for the Second Fragment

The challenge hints that the next part is somewhere "ordinary"—a place frequently visited and used. This alludes to server emojis.

Review the server’s emoji list. Among the standard and Nitro-locked emojis (some not accessible), one stands out as suspicious or thematically relevant.

By selecting this special emoji, participants obtain the second part of the flag:

Step 3: Flag Assembly

Combine the clues from the two discoveries:

  • First part: questCONth!si-

  • Second part: theFLaG
